Reaching Catholic mom

Q: Speaking to a loved one in a  works based religion I’m in a conflicting situation. My mom seems to think the only way to heaven is by faith but also by works. In her eyes, an individual has to get baptized, basically walk and talk like a Christian, have faith in God, and confess their sins to a priest. I don’t believe that to be true as I’ve been doing my own Bible studying and getting a better understanding of what it means to be a Christian and saved. Everytime we talk about this it’s just us budding heads and ends up in us getting in an argument. Don’t get me wrong I love and respect my mother but I can’t seem to get to her with it. She’s very closed minded when it comes to this topic especially. I guess this is all to ask… How do I approach this? A: Yeah a hard topic when you are trying to reach someone in a works based religion with the truth of Scripture. I would ask her to watch this needGod.com and Then see if she understands and agrees. And if she wants to be mad...

Nurse seeks help witnessing at work.

Q: How can I practically share the Gospel with people who have not been saved? How can I evangelize especially at work. I am a nurse. A: Here are helps, for those born again, to get equipped to share the gospel.  http://longertweets.blogspot.com/2023/07/resources-believers-pg-6.html This is helpful too https://web.archive.org/web/20240425034544/https://livingwaters.com/why-christianity/ The easiest way is to know the essentials of Christianity and be able to articulate the Gospel. But since we need to be able to answer questions too the 1st link will help.  http://longertweets.blogspot.com/2024/01/understanding-essentials.html https://livingwaters.com/are-you-a-good-person Depending on the type of nurse work you are doing...  If you have a couple min here and there you can ask patient how they are doing today. Let them talk. If they express something, take it as a opp that God has opened a door for you to say "i will pray about that today" or add "would you like to talk...

11 yo sad his friends havent embraced the Gospel yet

Q:  My son (11) was in tears tonight over his two new "unsaved" friends. He’s been giving them gospel for like three weeks and they haven’t repented yet ❤️😂.  🙏Please pray for the salvation of his friends, and patience for my sweet son! A: Tell him to  Keep praying, living out Christian life and keep sharing! We are only to plant the seeds - God does the harvesting! Idea: Have him try using a video clip. He can text it and get their thoughts.  "I appreciated your time the other day, and your honesty. I am wondering if this [short vid clip] helps it make more sense? Let me know. needGod.com. Happy to answer questions (or pray with you) anytime🙂." Also make sure he has resources to answer questions (until he has them memorized [and with Scripture]).  Helpful Resources Big Resource http://longertweets.blogspot.com/2023/07/resources-believers-pg-6.html Quick answers GotQuestions.org Quick videos http://longertweets.blogspot.com/2022/08/ccc-investigate.html Bonus ...
