Is my Mom going to Hell for not believing in God? How to witness to her

Q: My mom just said shes going to hell becuase she "doest believe in God" and I told her thats where my brother went and she got mad at me and told me to stop texting her. I grew up without knowing of God much, and now i realize why my childhood was like it was. I was saved 7 years ago, and ever since i pray everyday, I believe in God...and i wish my mom was the same. This makes me real sad. A:  First, Everyone knows God exists, they just suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Also it was unheard of until around Darwins time to think there was no God. Every nation had a belief in God and a religion. Most had multiple gods. It would be insane to not believe in a God or Creator. In fact, a fun fact is, Christians used to be called athiests, because they only believed in 1 God.  You might be able to use that as a talking point with your mom [ask if she's really an atheist or just an agnostic?], and you can go thru the 4 points below too.  Secondly, That's not why people ...

How to engage: Estranged but reconnecting to a parent, who is hostile to Christianity

Q: My mom and I haven’t talked in years and since I had my baby we recently got on better terms and have been talking more, which I love! However, she has been seriously making fun of God, the Bible, and our religion (a couple of her posts left in comments). My questions is how am I suppose to emotionally respond to this? I love God so much and it’s hurtful to see these posts but of course it is her page and she can post what she wants to.  How should I handle this? A: Love as Christ, and Get equipped to share Christian truths. Then engage her in a loving, and patient way.  Show Christ by how you respond patiently in love and grace Get equipped to share truth * you can leave answer links in her comments like, " Many people misunderstad on that topic, this can help, link".  or instead post on your page that issue as a FAQ, and leave a link. If shes interested or curious she will look. If she ignores it, it gives you an idea the lost of objections she has about Christianity...

How to handle situations where a pastor shuts down our attempt to help educate an unsaved friend

Q: I’m so disappointed with what happened between our Pastor, a friend of mine and my husband. This friend is unchurched and recently visted ours. He sent a group text to the Pastor & my husband, asking to meetup. He said he wanted to sit down and discuss the bible. This is his second time asking (no response the first time). So I guess that’s why he included my husband on the text.  Well the Pastor text back asking our friend if believes in Jesus’s deity. He answered "yes but he doesn’t believe in trinity". He said he thought it would be easier if he could sit down and discuss in person rather than text though. The Pastor replied, "we don’t serve the same God, you worship a god you’ve created in your mind". That was it. 👀 I’m honestly shocked and disappointed that the Pastor wouldn’t have taken the opportunity to evangelize. I think he could have invited our friend to meet with him and the other Pastors of the church to discuss. If he truly believes our friend...

Can anything good come from going to Pride events?

Image
Q: I saw a video of a guy talking to lgbtrans folk at a prid3 event. He said something that didn't seem right, but I need clarity myself to understand this better.   The gay girl (with ulterior motives in speaking with him) asked if God loves her, and he replied yes, so she came back saying "well that's all that matters then"... and walked off.  A: First, to her... its not all that matters. She's just looking for a way to try to justify her sin choices, and throw it in God's face in rebellion. God is still here Judge and her crimes still need to be paid for, and will be; either by her in eyernal Hell, or in redemption thru Christ before she dies.  Secondly, he was wrong. Theres many out there preaching falsehoods (who are in quasi Christianity, legalistic sects, false churches and cults that "claim" to be Christian). While we can say "at least he's not a Hell bashing picketer whose flairing up hatred", false information in a...

🛑YouTube Content Creating

You can also have a dedicated channel  to Christian content; a particular type or varied content. But do it under your church leaders approval, content by content. And with approval of content owners where teaching fair use laws might not apply.   Examples:  ○ create shorts and smaller clips of solid preachers teaching a specific thing or topic, or  ○giving  a faq  on something, edited from a fuller video/audio content sermon, or even an apologist clipped like this  and this . ○You can also put 2 to 4 clips of one pastor talking about a topic from diff sermons or video content of theirs, as long as it's in proper context.  ○Or edit into a video ones where a couple reliable pastors speak on a topic like  here  and   here .   ○Also, You can even  find  the 3 to 5 to 7 "points" of a sermon, and edit just those points into one video clip, then link to full sermon in description.  Many people watch these onl...
