Parenting & the Gospel Q: I feel inadequate as a mom sometimes. I don't know if im adequately teaching my children at times. My daughter embraced Jesus last night, But her brother.... l couldn't explain it well enough? We teach, do devotions, go to church and he knows about Jesus. He has raised his hand in a church service, but didn't go forward. I didn't mention it, but he did last night, he spoke of how he believed that we all sin, that Jesus died for our sins, that we have to ask for forgiveness', the part he cannot grasp is, " asking Jesus into your heart". Somehow now He couldn't understand that he's been bad, or done wrong so he questioned the sin part...this, after a year where he "understood" through various studying the bible and Sunday school. I feel inadequate. Feeling ive failed somewhere. (he is slightly on the spectrum, but this is the first thing he seems to not grasp). We want our children to learn and come to the k...
