Jordan Peterson & Husband OT NT issues
Q: I'm feeling sad today. My husband is not the kind who DOESN'T think about God or is hostile. Rather, he has developed a "theology" around Jordan Peterson (if you know of his message) that supports the Bible as metaphorically true, but not necessarily literally true. He wants to talk about it frequently and wants to start a podcast at some point in the future, dialoguing with others who have deconverted or who have faith struggles, etc. I have asked him not to talk with me about it, because it makes me so upset and start to question my own faith, honestly. I'm feeling depressed and grumpy. I worry about how this "podcast" will impact my marriage and his faith, even further. I am also sad because, in some ways I thought we were moving closer together on some areas of thinking, but this reaffirms that we're saying two very different things.
