When Mormon asks your Fav name of Jesus besides Savior...
Mormon Questions Q: I know someone who ran into some Mormons the other evening, and they posed an interesting question many of us Christians need to be prepared to respond to. Her report: Noting the cultists always want to chat and ask if you go to church etc. The believer is usually friendly and talk about their own commitment to Christ when engaging cultists. After a short chat, as they left one turned back [trying to lure her] and said, “oh just real quick, if you had one favorite name for Jesus what would it be? Other than Savior/Redeemer?” She said it was so odd and felt like a trick. She was trying to search her brain for the reason they would ask this. [She did note she knows Jehovah Witnesses always want to emphasize Jehovah]. What about Mormons? I know they are also trying to get away from the “nickname” of Mormons since 2016. And with a heavy lds presence in her area she is always trying to learn how to engage them. What are your thoughts, and whats the trap here theyr...
