What if someone rejects a tract?

Q: What should my response be when someone out right rejects a Gospel tract?   Many that have say “If this about God or Jesus, I don’t want it.” A: If you're interested in having conversations, that's a great opening! THEM: Is that about Jesus? I don't want it!  YOU: Actually, it is. I'll save it for the next person, but I'm curious, why don't you want something to help you think about the importance of Jesus?  Listen to them and that may open the door for you to share the Gospel. If they refuse to open up though, wish them well and move on. Do try to probe. It may open doors to talk. Have ready some answers ready to top 5 expected rejection reasons the person has about religion or Christianity, or Jesus, and you might be able to chat & swing to the Gospel. Put the focus on Jesus not the people who claim to be his followers or religions that claim to be Christian. Use if questions like If God is real or if Jesus is God and if he went to great expense and le...

Dog Evangelism

Image
There are many ways you can find to share the gospel with people.  DOG MAGNET If you have a dig you will find many people approach you. Have an acceptable policy about your pet you are comfortable with, and use the pet to open gospel conversations. Have tracts on you to share even in short convos.  *Be cautious and use situational awareness for safety.  DOG LOVERS If you have a tract and organic treat in zipbags, you can hand them out and start conversations with folk in varied places.  *Be wise and discerning and consider safety and gender when doing this. It's best to never approach people with dogs alone.  HOMELESS DOG OWNERS The homeless community is growing in major cities, a lot by choice. Many of them somehow have dogs and can afford to keep them. Here is an idea to help the dog and person in summer or winter. * If you are a female, don't go near homeless people or person without a man with you, for safety and security. I know a gal who was pu...

How do we leave someone after a gospel convo?

Q: What is your evangelism routine after evangelizing to a new person?  What is a good practice to do before we move on to the next person? A: After the convo you can give the " will think about it " person something free like Scientific facts in the Bible or Why Christianity tract if you didn't give a tract. Then leave them with God.  If they say they realize they were a false convert  & got saved today, then they have been in church before and likely have a Bible. Direct them to a biblical church nearby [that you have on a list in the area you are evangelizing and in that county]. If they don't have a Bible you can give them this  https://livingwaters.com/store/books/bibles/the-bibles-four-gospels/ probably avail on Amazon if out of stock. It has the Gospel in it and steps for new believer in there, to further guide them.  If they're a new believer, ask if they have a Bible. If they don't or have a catholic or cult version or kjv, offer them 1. the book ...

Help reaching Jewish bf

Q: I'm looking for guidance for my two-year relationship with my boyfriend, who is an Israelite. I'm a Christian. Our discussions about the Bible often lead to disagreements, as he corrects me based on his beliefs. I am open to correction always but only if it is in God's living word. We recently had a conversation about Mary and Joseph's relationship and Jesus' conception it highlighted our differences. He believes in a physical relationship between Mary and Joseph. Which led to Jesus birth. But i believe if Joseph knows it got mary pregnant he wouldn't have reacted the way he did before the angel came to him. It shows that Joseph had no idea how Mary got pregnant and assumed it was by another man at first. But because of his strong faith in God he believed the angel. He also believes that salvation is race-dependent. But Jesus says many times in the Bible that he has come for the poor, misled and those who refuse to know him. And to give them salvation too...
