How do we leave someone after a gospel convo?
Q: What is your evangelism routine after evangelizing to a new person?
What is a good practice to do before we move on to the next person?
A:
After the convo you can give the "will think about it" person something free like Scientific facts in the Bible or Why Christianity tract if you didn't give a tract. Then leave them with God.
If they say they realize they were a false convert & got saved today, then they have been in church before and likely have a Bible. Direct them to a biblical church nearby [that you have on a list in the area you are evangelizing and in that county]. If they don't have a Bible you can give them this

If they're a new believer, ask if they have a Bible. If they don't or have a catholic or cult version or kjv, offer them 1. the book https://livingwaters.com/store/books/bibles/the-bibles-four-gospels/ probably avail on Amazon if out of stock. It has the Gospel in it and steps for new believer. or 2. a Gospel of John booklet. In either you can put a QR code sticker or website link on inside front cover directing them to a ("Good study Bible") to get

Henry 316@gmail.com" using an evangelism specific email for outreach. 3. or you air drop the study bible link, or email the link to them before you move on if theyre open to give you theirs. Be careful with air drop/share nearby because it might give them your phone details which can be used to find you. 😬.
4. &/or direct them (in your "closing chat") to download studybible.org app while they're with you. *show how clicking a link opens up a resource button for deeper examination of the text. This is free. And recommend a solid Bible focused church nearest them (you can send to their email). You can use this directory to help them find one while you chat. Esp. If they are not nearby the area where your church is or are from out of the area.
It will vary by person on what you say and share at the end of the convo before moving on. But if you have a basic guideline you stick to & some books/booklets (or offers) with you it will help.
Here is the new believers booklet you can hand out.
If they are willing to give their mailing address you could offer "to mail them some free gifts", and include in it a letter of encouragement and a solid church nearest that address.
If you have no money for evangelism free gifts, beyond a tract, and app suggestion, ask your church to get cards for you,...using with discernment and discretion offer the person your evangelism based contact card - with your first name, church info and email on it, and needGod.com. That way they can contact you further after the convo. But I only recommend men use that option, for safety reasons. If women are doing community outreach, you should be paired with a man and have him give out his card. If it is a normal not sketchy woman/women you encounter, he can filter those emails to you and you can reply back. We don't want security and safety issues (incl weird women stalking you at your church).
For email follow ups initiated by the seeker, upon the believer getting an email, you can get team assistance: the outreach team can 1. have a group chat to see who is avail that week to help with replies, and 2. the guy believer can then filter some emails among the group (by email) for delegating on his behalf so you can share the email load for replies. And filter to the best person in the group to answer certian questions, [or who has more time that week]. If you get an email and you dont know how to reply, you can note in chat & pass it to another team member. Once you write up the response, send it back to the believer team guy who the email was originally sent to, for review, tweak and sending the response back to the inquierer via his original email. Keep internal email drafts/chats away from that original email. As in no chain messages, but the only email the seeker should get is a solo reply from the believer guy who recieved it.
You likely won't get many emails from seekers, but if you do, soak your replies in prayer and scripture & review it, before you send it back. Double check everything from typos to spelling to info provided and any ensure any links or attachments are enclosed. Give it a few minutes before you send, in case you think of something else to add.
Having a team chat group by phone text group or fb messenger (depending on if everyone can afford texting or if fb is best for your team) helps you stay connected, helps you always go in teams of 3 only, and gives opportunity to spontaneously add additional opportunities to go meet up, plan weekly gatherings in town, or for events to go share the gospel. Even if there's only 3 in your church, and no outreach team. Do go out with keeping in mind you are under the authority of your church leaders, (accountable to them & the church), and need to be godly representatives of Christ behaving rightly to each other and others.
Hope this helps.
