Why do people get annoyed at Christians

Q: I can't find where Jesus said to not annoy anyone when sharing the gospel. No matter where we share Christianity, at work, in town, door to door, or anywhere... people will be annoyed.

A: We are told to Go into all the World and Preach the Gospel. That is what we are called to do. And when we go we are to give answers with gentleness, care and lovingly share the truth. This is what Scripture teaches.

There are more false converts in churches (and false religions claiming to be Christian with those addl false converts) than actually saved people. But among the true converts those who love God will share the gospel. They read the Bible regularly, and will serve in ministries too. Some will get equipped and join the church outreach team and make time to go into town or d2d to reach those in the church area.

The purpose of sharing the Gospel is not to gain numbers of bodies in the pews but to share the gospel, plant seeds, and be faithful servants of Christ. If they get saved & come to our church, great. If not then we still obeyed the commission and cared enough to plant seeds; who knows their future but God? In the end, humans are responsible for their own lives before God, and in the end the saved will go to be with Christ.

The ones God doesnt open their hearts and minds to engage us will be annoyed because the world hates God. They love sin and hate righteousness. They hated Christ theyll hate us too. It is not just the message they hate, that (explained lovingly) that theyre imperfect sinners who self-righteously think theyre good, and that they need the Savior. It is also the messenger and the One who sent that message. If they hsted the prophets, apostles and Christ enough to kill them, so too they might try to harm and kill us.

The redeemed who are sharing truth do so the best they know how. Some bumble along and do it to at least try, until they get equipped and mature in the faith to do a better job. The world meets believers at all levels of maturity in faith but assumes they should always perfectly do it right, that is an impossible standard they mentally try to impose. They aren't perfect neither is the unsaved person. We are just redeemed people trying to help rescue those who are blind to reality. It is like they're about to walk off a cliff and die or jump out a plane without a parachute, or sit in a burning building and refuse to let the fire fighters rescue them.

If you are born again but havent been being "an approved workmen whose not ashamed" and havent yet got equipped to share the gospel, get busy and be a faithful servant to your Lord. You were left on earth to be about your Father's business.
