Witnessing Resources for reaching JWs

Q:  2 JW'S come to my house, and I witness to them about the divinity of Christ.  Pray for them bc they are hard headed. I invited them back to talk again...so that I am more prepared instead of feeling like I am ambushed (by these well trained cult people). 

 Any topics I should talk about next time? I'm thinking about the Holy Spirit being a Person and not a force to continue the Trinity talk.


A: These will help prepare you but they're very good at decieving people... so until you study this well, i highly suggest you don't engage them. They may have put you on a blacklist anyway already... cuz you know the Bible enough. They might not return.  *They only target the uninformed pew sitters they can lure thrm away in deception, to their cult.

I noticed LW podcast doesn't have JW episode yet. Their School of Biblical Evangelism book and book World religions in a Nutshell are good resources, on this group, (i dont see as free audio books on spotify) ...but check out Carm.org too, which should be linked in the blog post here for resources.

They aren't allowed to take material, cuz you know... they'd see the truth. But...

I do think a interesting Idea would be to say, "Oh I saw something recently, and want your opinion in it..." then show on your tablet device the NeedGod.com gospel video. Let it plant the seed! 😊

Update: pls note their governing body [God on earth] have changed some things. Pretty interesting considering Gid doesn't chsng3, and His word shouldn't either. Why is it changing for the culture? Prophecy or interpretations now can change? Interesting questions to pose, I mean...then what we share they have to be open to it being the truth.

What if someone rejects a tract?

Q: What should my response be when someone out right rejects a Gospel tract?   Many that have say “If this about God or Jesus, I don’t want it.” A: If you're interested in having conversations, that's a great opening! THEM: Is that about Jesus? I don't want it!  YOU: Actually, it is. I'll save it for the next person, but I'm curious, why don't you want something to help you think about the importance of Jesus?  Listen to them and that may open the door for you to share the Gospel. If they refuse to open up though, wish them well and move on. Do try to probe. It may open doors to talk.
